THROUGH THE WATERS is a creative community of musicians, artists and friends who are committed to growing in our lifestyle of worship as we respond to the goodness and love of God supremely demonstrated in Jesus Christ. The name THROUGH THE WATERS is taken from the prophet Ezekiel’s vision (in Ezekiel 47) where he is called to journey deeper and deeper into the river of God until it becomes a river deep enough to swim in. We are passionate about daily going on this journey and encouraging others to do the same.
THROUGH THE WATERS came into existence through leading worship together at a monthly youth event in the town that we all lived in at the time. Since those early days we have had the privilege of leading worship and playing music at various events, festivals and churches across the UK. At the moment members of the THROUGH THE WATERS community are based in London and the South East of England.
Back in 2016 we recorded our first single ‘Reigning Most High’ (read more about the song here). In February 2021 we released a 5 track EP called ‘River’ (listen to River EP here). We pray that these songs encourage all who hear them to continue journeying deeper THROUGH THE WATERS into greater encounter with the living God! As well as releasing new music we are excited about what the future has in store and are committed to growing in our expressions of creativity, community and worship…we would love you to join us on this journey.
